WHAT IS THE ADOPTION AMBASSADOR TOUR?
This is an exciting year as 2011 is the very first year that the Adoption Ambassador Tour is open to the public as a community event. The Adoption Ambassador Tour is the signature cycling event for a year-round public awareness campaign to promote the vision that we are all ambassadors of adoption, and to provide a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate our common spirit to the cause of adoption throughout the year.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ADOPTION AMBASSADOR TOUR?
The Adoption Ambassador Tour is not a fundraiser; it is a unique opportunity to combine a passion for cycling with celebrating the children and families brought together through adoption. Our tour mantra, “Ride it – Wear it – Share it!” sums it up quite nicely! We hope awareness is raised simply by riding your bike, wearing your Adoption Tour gear, and sharing the good news of adoption!
EVENT INFORMATION
Ride Options: There will be two scenic route options available: a half metric and a metric.
Start Location: The Adoption Ambassador Tour will begin and end at the Harmony Family Center at Camp Montvale, 4901 Montvale Road, Maryville, Tennessee 37803.
Date: October 15, 2011
Start Time: 9:00 a.m. for both ride options
Registration Information until 8/15/2011:
Ride Registration: $30
Ride Registration and Adoption Tour Jersey: $75
Riders wanting to order a jersey must register before 8/15/2011. Jerseys will not be available for order after 8/15/2011. Jerseys may be ordered through RaceDay Events at time of registration. Preview the Adoption Ambassador Tour Jersey here.
Registration Information After 8/15/2011:
Ride Registration: $40
Day of Tour Registration: $50
What is Included? All riders will receive an Adoption Tour t-shirt, water bottle, post ride barbeque, and Adoption Ambassador information packet.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE ADOPTION AMBASSADOR TOUR?
This event is open to all with a passion for cycling and we welcome riders from every ability level, age, and background. You do not have to have a direct connection to adoption to ride!
HOW DO I REGISTER?
RaceDay Events in Knoxville, Tennessee will be handling event details and registration this year. Registration is now open and we are excited about this upcoming event. Make plans to join us as we celebrate adoption.
Harmony and RaceDay Events will provide the support and aid stations while the riders will be responsible for their lodging and transportation to and from the event. If you plan on joining us from another state or another part of Tennessee, please click on Local Accommodations for a list of local hotels.
