Adoption – At Harmony Adoptions, our passion lies in knowing that one less child is waiting to find a forever family. Our mission and our services focus on the needs of these children who need to be connected to loving homes and in serving the families who have chosen to begin the lifelong journey of adoption.

The Barn – The Barn, a program of Harmony Adoptions, is dedicated to strengthening children and families through the use of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). EAP is an experiential therapy that integrates horses into the counseling process. We serve children who have experienced physical and emotional trauma and/or neglect and have been removed from their birth families. A child’s reaction to stress can result in behaviors that present problems for foster and adoptive parents and can become barriers to success. The Barn offers EAP to children and youth in foster care or in adoptive families.

ASAP – ASAP is an innovative program that supports adoptive families and children across Tennessee as they create and maintain important connections with each other and helpful service agencies. ASAP teaches families how to ensure a successful adoption, and is motivated by the needs of families and children in all stages of the adoption process.

HMHF – The Healthy Marriage, Healthy Family Program is an innovative program designed to aid Tennessee’s adoptive and resource families by educating couples in effective communication and conflict resolution, thereby creating and fostering a more stable environment for the family as a whole.

FOCUS – The FOCUS Program is a collaboration between the Department of Children’s Services, Harmony Adoptions, and provider agencies across the state. FOCUS serves children statewide in the foster care system that are in full guardianship and are in need of a forever family.

HART – HART partners with DCS in seven regions of the state (Northwest, Southwest, South Central, East, Knox, Smoky Mountain, and Northeast) and with all members of the child’s team to help secure permanency for children in custody/guardianship by providing a variety of services.
